Initial Appointment

I offer an initial consultation to assess your needs and discuss how counselling or psychotherapy may help you. This is an opportunity for me to find out more about you, give you a taste of how therapy would be, and consider how we might best work together.

Length of Therapy

If we decide to work together, then we will agree upon a therapeutic plan that takes account of your needs, your preferred way of working, and your goals. We may agree upon a fixed number of sessions (usually somewhere between 6 and 12) if short-term, focussed, work is required; or it may be more appropriate to adopt an open-ended approach, building in periodic reviews along the way.

Fees for My Counselling and Psychotherapy Services in Tonbridge and Maidstone

Session fees are £70 for individual therapy, £95 for couple therapy, and £125 for family therapy.

Some concessions may be available for clients on low incomes and students training to be counsellors or psychotherapists; please ask when you enquire.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are at the same time each week.

Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Location

I have a therapy room in north Tonbridge within easy reach of the A21.  It is easily accessible by bus, with the nearest bus stop a five minute walk away.

I also work at the Community Support Centre, in Maidstone town centre. This is a short walk from both train stations; and several bus stops.

Both rooms are comfortable, quiet and private. There is free parking available at both locations.

You can use my counselling and psychotherapy services in Tonbridge or Maidstone; whichever is most convenient for you.

Online Therapy

I have completed a thorough training in delivering therapy online therefore I am able to offer remote sessions via telephone or video (Teams, Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Whatsapp) call during the Covid-19 pandemic or for clients whose circumstances prevent them from attending therapy in person.
